Loss Control Consultant-Independent Contractor
Work from your own home base and set your own schedule as an independent contractor doing commercial property and liability insurance surveys on an as needed basis.
Technical Insurance Services is a leading provider of commercial underwriting surveys and replacement cost valuations since 1983. We are currently looking for self-motivated, responsible inspectors to conduct property and liability surveys in your area.
Responsibilities include: organizing and scheduling site visits; completing on-site inspections of buildings and properties; identifying and photographing property and liability hazards and making appropriate recommendations; accurately measuring properties; completing interviews with policyholders; completing accurate reports using our user-friendly online interface.
Qualifications include: experience in loss control, with knowledge of property building hazards, such as construction, roofing, wiring, plumbing, heating, commercial kitchens, etc. as well as operational and life safety hazards; knowledge of property and liability insurance coverages; a background in construction, architecture, fire safety or claims adjusting is also a plus; a digital camera, a computer with high-speed internet and reliable transportation. Applicants without the required qualifications will not be considered.
