National Risk is a leading provider of insurance-related inspections and loss control work throughout the US. We are looking for experienced independent contractors who can handle deadlines and are motivated to assist us with inspections in and around your area. We found your information within the Underwriter Services Association directory as someone who appears to fit the criteria we are looking for. We have a need in your immediate area. Our system is very user-friendly and one of the easiest to use within the industry.

Job type – Independent Contractor – Insurance Inspector – You will need to identify hazards or liability concerns as well as provide digital photographs and in some cases, we need measurements of buildings. You will set your own schedule

Pay – Work is paid for by the piece based upon the work effort expended. Our largest volume of work (85%) is exterior inspections without a sketch/diagram. We pay every two weeks.

Responsibilities
Drive to residential properties
Identify and photograph potential hazards or poor condition issues
Record on-site observations in accordance with customer-specific requirements
Complete routine underwriting reports in a timely and efficient manner
Speak directly with policyholders and/or agents
Accurately measure property perimeter
Accurately sketch property dimensions and areas using NRS field-diagramming software (if needed)
Photograph and upload images of property and premises

Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have a background in construction/home improvement, real estate, insurance, or architecture
Self-motivation is required
Clean driving record and criminal background check
